Homemade granola

This homemade granola is full of good-for-you fatty acids.

Homemade crunchy granola is quick to make and makes a great gift!

Ingredients:

5 dl oatmeal

1-1½ dl almonds, roughly chopped

½ dl honey

½ dl Memmas Knossos extra virgin olive oil

½ teaspoon salt

Help:

Preheat the oven to 160 °C.

In a bowl, mix the oatmeal, almonds, salt and any spices.

Add honey and olive oil. Mix thoroughly to give all the flakes a little flavour.

Spread the mixture on a baking tray lined with baking paper in an even layer.

Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring once halfway through baking.

Remove from the oven when the granola is golden brown. Allow to cool in peace: the granola will crisp up as it cools.
